We went to a wonderful museum last week in Los Angeles. It was the Museum of Tolerance. It is one of the best museums that I have ever been to. We are studying WWII, Anne Frank, and the Holocaust. There was SO much information and things to see and do. Part of it is hands on, part is self guided tour, and part is with a personal tour guide. We were there over 4 hours and only saw half of the museum! The highlight of the day was listening to a real Holocaust survivor speak for 90 min. You can read book after book, but I think it just means a whole lot more to actually get to do, see, and hear about something from someone that actually lived through it. It was AMAZING! I highly recommend this museum.
I love that place! We went early this year, or last year with a group of homeschool friends. I would love to go again next year.
That's great! I love museums and luckily my kids do too. It's so much more of a fulfilling experience then just reading books or even watching a movie/documentary.
