My son is in 7th grade. I need a workbook that focuses primarily on punctuation and capitalization. I am thinking of something with daily drills or something he can work on daily for like 10 min.
How about Daily Paragraph Editing by Evan Moor? Ds loved this. It has lots of capitalization and punctuation, as well as spelling exercises. Oh, and it's fun.
The Complete Book of Grammar and Punctuation, it's no longer published but you can find it "used" on Amazon in unwritten in condition.
Language Mechanics from Critical Thinking Press. I also like Editor in Chief from Critical Thinking Press...it's the same concept as Evan Moor's Paragraph editing but a little more challenging, I think. They have Editor in Chief in a computer program format that would probably work well for daily practice.
Easy Grammar here. We are using Easy Grammar Ultimate; 180 Daily Teaching Lessons. We started with Easy Grammar Plus in 7th grade. We spent 2 years on that and have started the Ultimate this year for 9th grade. So far it has reviewed capitalization and punctuation every day.
We use http://www.zaner-bloser.com/gum -- Grammar, Usage, and Mechanics. All of the lessons are only 2 pages each for succinct daily instruction. This page shows the format of the lessons http://www.zaner-bloser.com/gum-easy-follow-lessons. Good luck finding your perfect fit!
We use Daily grams and Easy grammar as well. I have tried so many programs over 18 years of hs, and I think these are the best.
