Early reading curriculum

    We use Explode the Code for phonics and are happy with it. It's only deficiency seems to be that there isn't much in the way of regular reading. I wonder if any of you supplement this with some kind of regular program of longer reading. ?
    Ideally, we are looking for something that has a systematic, regular schedule of readings that would take the student from easy readings to progressively more difficult. There has got to be something like that out there.

    Sonlight uses ETC. You might want to check them out at least for a good reading list.

    Yup, we use Sonlight readers with ETC.
