hey folks, my youngest was born on St. Patrick's Day, and this year, she wants a shamrock themed birthday party. We're doing it at a roller rink, but we have to bring all the decorations, etc. Also, need goodie bag ideas… Would love to hear your thoughts!!!!
I think Jo-Ann's has all the shamrock themed stuff half off for decorations, I"d find some stuff at the dollar store too.......... green paper plates, green table cloth, green streamers, confetti etc... Goodie bags: green suckers (green apple) SKITTLES (rainbow) chocolate gold coins (the dollar store has little kettles too usually 6 per package) if you don't have a lot of kids get socks with green stripes or lucky charms ohhh little boxes of lucky charms too in the goodie bags?? or have the box of Lucky Charms as a prize for best skater or other skating party game? sounds like a fun party

Green Tootsie Rolls (I think they're lime) Green Dum Dum lollipops (some are sour apple, some are cream soda) Crazy Loom Shamrocks (my daughter made them, they're really cute!) Smarties - We're putting in Smarties b/c she thought they looked like a rainbow, and we already had some left from Valentine's Day Gold Coins I'm thinking of adding: Rolos - because the wrapping is gold. Shamrock Tattoos - if our dollar store still has them. Hallmark makes them, too, but they are WAY expensive!!! Shamrock pencils - our dollar store had them. Lucky Charms cereal bars! I found them at our Aldi, waiting for payday to go get them! She wants to add shamrock necklaces….if they're not too expensive, yes. She's not going for the shamrock cupcake idea I saw on Pinterest….so I think I'll order a St. Patrick's Day themed cake.
