When I was in my early 20's, I worked at a Radio Shack and got comments there also.

I think that a lot of women are consumed by hair and become hair police. Perhaps they were women who had just made the decision to cut and then became militant about it. They are out there are they are plentiful.

I have had comments as recently as last year. Someone at church said " I am really surprised you wear your hair as long as you do, have you considered coloring or cutting it?"

I think older women look at me and feel they can help me "grow up" buy prodding me along, or mentor me or something.

It is funny how men react the exact opposite way. I always laugh when I get these comments now days. I think to my self, "I bet your husband thinks my hair is just fine"

For the majority of my life, my hair was long. About three years ago, I went to have layers put into it and the lady used my bangs as top layer.
Errr!!! I wasn't pleased because she ended up having to cut my hair shoulder length. I always received compliments on my long hair. The reaction to my haircut wasn't exactly negative, but they weren't exactly compliments either. I received a lot of,"OH NO! You cut your pretty hair!"
Thankfully it has grown out. Although it isn't as long as it used to be. Right now I am keeping it to the middle of my back.

My daughter has hair that I would love to make a wig out of. It is thick, long, naturally, and evenly wavy. Her hair came out a medium brown, with blond highlights. SO PRETTY!!! ...and of course, the kid can't stand her hair even though people always tell her how pretty it is and want to know where she gets her highlights done. :?

UPdate, French toe nails. I discovered another even easier way that cost even less.

Buy pright white polish, 100 percent acetone remover, and the que tips that have pointy ends. You can find them in make up removal, or in nail products.

YOu paint the white on the ends on the nails, and let dry. done worry too much abouth the inner line. Paint it with the brush pointing at the moons and make small strokes away from the end of the toe.

Then dip the qtip in acetone and use it to perfect the French line and clean up anything from the sides. So EASY compared to other methods.

After all is dry apply your clear coat(s).
