Just wanted to let everyone know that GOD IS SO GOOD!! We have prayed for YEARS for hubby to get some help with his back issue. He was basically given a new job with added bonus of FREE health insurance.. We pay NO premiums AT ALL!! Only a co-pay which is NOTHING compared to what we were paying out of our pocket. Dr visits are $120 and then Medicine was another $200 a month.. And sometimes we went to the dr twice a month. Specialists ran us $500 a pop and once they found out we didn't have insurance they didn't want to see us. It was so nice to walk into the spine specialist office and hand them $25 and know that we were going to get treatment.. We still don't know what's going to happen, but I DO know that God will take care of it and that he has a plan and a purpose in EVERYTHING.. My 10 year old daughter says that God allowed this to happen to daddy so that daddy would get closer to him. I would have to agree.. I stand in Awe of how God works. Even if we don't get good news from the doctor we do know that We have all grown in Christ BECAUSE of what we have gone through and we will all know that God has bigger plans than what we could ever fathom. I serve a MIGHTY God!!
Great news! So glad he's getting good care Must be such a relief. Hope you get some good news on a therapy that will help his back soon...back problems are miserable and so depressing. Good for him, and for your whole family. Congrats
And we are back to square one.. Hubby lost his job today.. Nobody is going to hire him in his physical condition. I'm beyond annoyed. God has a plan, but I sure wish he would let me in on what it is. I'm having a really hard time dealing with this right now.. Please pray for us.. I will say that I DO STILL TRUST HIM AND STAND IN AWE OF HIM!!!

I don't feel like rereading my post so forgive me if this is a rerun.. Hubby will continue to get paid through August and His insurance will also continue on until September. So We have until the end of August to figure out what we are going to do.. To see if we can possibly get hubbys back fixed up before then. Hubby is going to talk to the doctor about disability too. Hopefully, short term. But no matter what, I know that God has this.. I feel like this might actually be an answer to a prayer of mine. A few weeks ago hubby was out getting samples at an oil well and came into contact with H2S gas. It's DEADLY. His monitors went off and he got out of there. I prayed that he would be protected from that. I just felt really uneasy about him out doing that job. So now we don't have to worry about it. I didn't want him to loose his job, but hey.. What ever it takes, right? It's all good. GOD is good ALL THE TIME! Totally LIVING IN HIS PRESENCE. I know he is here and that nothing at all happens without him knowing it before hand..
WOW, I will pray for your family. I hope that your spouse will get the treatment he needs to be healed. It must really be an upheaval to find and loose a job so quickly, when you have been waiting for things to turn around. Yikes. Consider shopping for coverage under the "health care exchange". I know some folks where the husband lost his job and they were able to get coverage for the three of them quite affordably. I know another couple that are one filing away from being divorced who are delaying so they can continue to get Affordable Health Care act, coverage for the kids. Their circumstances changed quite a lot and now they see keeping insurance on themselves and the kids more important than going their separate ways. Perhaps God is working on them yet. If your spouse served in the military in any way, get signed up with the VA. He does not have to have military related injuries to see their Doctors. THey have a sliding scale type of thing for those who are not disabled. If he is unemployed he will pay little if any for many things.
