Thanks Lindina! Sorry, I just noticed I spelled your name wrong before! I did the tests for my daughter and ordered Language Arts, Reading, and Math with CLE. I just ordered a few of each if them to make sure we like them! Thanks a lot for your help!

Thanks! Lindina, I just received my CLE books today! I haven't looked through all of them yet. Do you just do one lesson a day in each Light Unit?

Oohh...fun!! We also use CLE and love it! (for our core). We, personally, just do one lesson a day. I love it, because I don't have to mess with lesson plans, or anything. Open and go! Hope you and your kids enjoy it as much as mine do

Do I need to supplement handwriting or spelling when using CLE LA?

 

I would wait and see. CLE LA does include spelling and some handwriting. See how it goes and if in a few weeks/months you think you need something more, then go for it.

 

My 3rd grader needed more help. So I used the 1776 penmanship printables from Growing Home blog. But I think CLE's is sufficient for most kids.

My grandson needed extra practice, so I got Pentime last year. The style is almost exactly the same, so it wasn't confusing. CLE also sells Pentime.
