are hard to make. You know that feeling you get when the Lord is trying to tell you that its not the right choice to make. ya... that was me last week!

I was asked to watch some kiddos at the ranch my hubby works for. They wanted me to go their, but the more I talked with her and the more I heard them talk (her hubby and herself) I was getting this uneasy feeling. I prayed and prayed about it. (we could use the money) But I just have to many things on my plate, Church work ( doing things my hubby can't because of working all day long), homeschooling, house.. etc.

This mother wanted me out there, cooking for her child and husband (lunch) taking care of the newborn... The more I talked with her the more I was thinking this will not work.. prayed, prayed, prayed, had this heavy pit in my stomach, then Saturday when I made up my mind, I was like.. the pit in my stomach is gone.. LOL...
Now I am waiting for the ugliness to begin... I called her, and she was not happy when I told her she would have to bring them to me.. She said that is was an inconvenience to her... well I guess we will see!

I am happy and that's all that matters.. hubby is happy, (i hope) since he had been making comments about some things He might not like about it.. etc..

Shelby, if He brings you to it, He'll bring you through it. Th best place to be is in the center of His will! If you're talking to Him about it all, and listening for an answer, and I know you are, somehow it's all going to turn out right.

Either the woman will adapt and accept your offer, or she'll find someone else to come to her house.

Regardless, you've put what you can offer on the table...and it's entirely up to her. I think you're generous to let them come to your house.

There shouldn't be any reason for ugliness. She's got a choice. You're just being honest about what works for you. You're allowed.

I think CrazyMom has a point. I actually refuse to watch other children because it feels like people think you have no life if you choose to stay home with your kids..and you can just come cater to their life for a few bucks...umm..no:mad:?!

I hope it works out for you and there isn't any ugliness involved..but if there is..luckily you dodged the bulk of it by not working for her at all ;-)
