I have used Sonlight and Christian Light Education (CLE) and I like both programs. I'm thinking of trying My Father's World next year. And there are many other programs out there as well.
Rod & Staff Bob Jones Heart of Dakota ... also, there are a lot of Christian publishers for just one subject, but not a full curriculum (Apologia Science, Bright Ideas Press for History & Literature, Notgrass, etc.) What are you looking for, exactly?
We used some Alpha Omega stuff, mostly Horizons for Math. Later we switched to using a lot of BJU Press materials. I like how for the lower grades they have it setup such that one side of the page is done together with the student then they complete the back of the page themselves. This allowed me to move back and forth between students a bit more efficiently. I also liked that it was pretty clear cut from one day to another what was expected. I have never found a perfect curriculum and have always felt free to skip busy work if my students have mastered something as well as being free to find printouts online to supplement if we needed more practice. Mathdrills.com was a favorite. I tried the Apologia science for younger students and they just did not fit us well. I remember the MIddle and High school level Apologia materials being quite good however, and need to reexamine them for this year.
