So I keep setting myself up to fail..lol. I didn't understand nor did I like the lesson plan that came with the curriculum. So I made one on Word. Really simple...it had the date..the subjects..the work. Seemed like a PERFECT idea ...until we missed a day! For some insane reason that puts me into a panic because I've already printed out their lesson plans for the next 12 days!! If we miss one day the entire thing is off somewhere and how am I going to remember where they are vs where they "should" be??? So I was using Saturdays to get us back on schedule...crisis averted...sorta...till everyone got sick lol.

This chick on fb had the genius idea to stop using Mon-Fri..and just go with Day 1 etc., !! EUREKA!! Not only am I changing the names to the day number system...if we don't finish "Day 1" on "Day 1"..then we will finish it whenever we resume school before moving on to "Day 2"! If you do every subject every day then this is prolly a no brainer..but we rotate our subjects in a block like schedule! So this is EPIC AWESOMENESS!

Just wanted to share this revelation incase there were any other first time homeschoolers going through this :)

Yeah, I'm doing the very same thing this year. I guess great minds run in the same channels, right? :)
