and I haven't felt ONE shred of anxiety over the kids continued education at home..nor have I felt the usual frustrations and despair I've felt every other! No worries about the ridiculous school supply list everyone I know is complaining about...no worries over all the new school clothes shopping ...or extra fees for locker rentals...gym uniforms..or school provided locks!!

    I FEEL AWESOME!!

Apparently my children are still showing up in the school system because I got a call from ONE of my children's teacher...introducing herself...explaining to how glad she is to have my ds in her class this year and to see how our summer went! I have 3 children...dd2 goes to the same school as ds...do you think her teacher called? I am SO glad we don't have to put up with that anymore!! DS teacher sounds AWESOME! I would have loved for him to have had her...but one out of three is crappy odds!

homeschool brunch tomorrow sounds like an awesome way to celebrate the end of our public school era :)

I love the first day of public school...watching the bus drive by. LOL.

Still makes me happy. Even though I don't have a school aged kid anymore.

Looking back, I have absolutely no regrets that we homeschooled K-7. Eight really good years that we all look back on pretty fondly.

Sick days will be a relief too. Wake up sick? No problem....go back to bed and start school when you feel up to it...or put it off as long as you need to. No stress, doctor's notes, make-up work.

    Lots of terrific benefits:) Enjoy!

    Yes MinnieMouse!

CrazyMom...after our park brunch dd1 was super grumpy...everything was bothering her..her brother couldn't even swing his leg in his chair (that wasn't touching her in any way) without her breaking out in tears! So I sent her to room..and called the end of the day for classes. She took a nap..and decided to stay in there all day and I let her cuz it was extremely hot outside and she was due to start her cycle this week. I'm SO glad that I have the ability to SEE what is going on with her and make a call to end the day instead of her being forced to endure an entire day at school...which leads to further frustrations at home...and the rest of the week!

This morning her cycle started...she wasn't grumpy...no one was angry (as in me)...it was a great feeling to know I got that right!
