The surgeon's office booked an appointment for NEXT Thursday (the message was on my phone last night but I missed it until this morning). I called the office to see if they had been speaking to the EMH nurse since yesterday and she told me yes, that he would see him next week. If it was any worse over the weekend to take him to the ER and they would consult the surgeon IF they thought it needed to seen right away. I'm going to blow a gasket
I took Tracy to the ER tonight and his foot has been debrided. He's on IV antibiotics for the weekend - he was beginning to get cellulitis in his foot. I'm so hoping this is the begging of the end of this beast of an ulcer. His foot is a mess right now but I'm hopeful it heals now. So thankful I didn't wait until next week to have this looked after - he wouldn't have a foot by then.
And I'm glad that you know what you're doing and insist on getting it seen about, like your client who really needed to be in hospital for dehydration, like Tracy's foot... Nothing wrong and a lot right about being a little bulldog, sweetie.
 I love this! I'm as chillaxed as they come when it's medical stuff - it takes a lot to frazzle me. I take it all in stride but then there are times when I dig my heels in as needed and watch me go
UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!! You should see his foot!!! It's almost 100% HEALED !!! HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
