I am homeschooling my children but instead of using printing materials I am using online curriculum. Am I doing the right thing? Is anybody out there doing it?
As long as you are meeting your state's requirements, it's totally fine, yes. We use a mix of online and textbooks.
Online curriculum is fine! We have used both and now do a sort of combination. We do Spelling, most of our reading, and nearly all of our writing offline even if the directions are online. It really is what works for your family.
