Hello, I am so new to all of this (well actually in the research part, have't really started) anyway, I am looking to start homeschooling for my 8th grader and am wondering how we approach the constitution. Do we do our own test at home? Send them to school to test? Is it available on a web page? Thanks in advance :) We live in Illinois.....

Hi! Sorry no one has replied yet. I keep seeing your post, but I'm Canadian and have no clue about the answer to you question. Hopefully someone else will come along with an answer for you. Welcome here :)

I don't know what laws in Illinois are, but I'm pretty sure you don't have like a specific test they have to take on the Constitution. Just teach them what you're going to teach them, using whatever materials you choose. Personally, I have used Christian Liberty's course The Land of Fair Play http://www.shopchristianliberty.com/government/ and The Federalist Papers.
