Hello everyone! I am currently gathering information for my research paper. My topic is (still a work in progress) as follows:
Problem: In recent years home schooling has become a more alluring option as opposed to traditional schooling. In addition, the recent years have seen an increase in issues regarding bullying in the schools. Furthermore, many students face medical problems which make attending class in a brick and mortar setting very difficult.
Solution: Long distance learning is a much needed option for students during their primary educational years.
Working Thesis Statement: Long distance learning should be available during a student’s primary educational years as a means to not only better aid and strengthen the curriculum in home schooled education, but also as an alternative to standard brick and mortar education. Now, to help me with my research, I hope to be able to ask any of you who are willing to answer some questions in a brief survey. If you choose to answer, please be as honest and descriptive as possible! Thank you in advance for your help!
Do you feel that distance learning is easier, more difficult or essentially the same? (In regards to difficulty of subject matter, understanding the lessons being taught, retaining information etc.)

Do you feel that the education your child would receive via a distance learning program would be less than, equal to or greater than those students receiving an education at a brick and mortar facility?

What are some challenges you feel your child would face, if any, while receiving an education through distance learning?

What are the benefits you feel your child would receive, if any, while gaining an education through distance learning?

If you are a parent or prospective parent, how would you feel about your child receiving an education via a distance learning program throughout their primary years?

Do you feel an accredited long distance learning program would benefit you in homeschooling your child? Why/why not?

Please, feel free to add any comments or information! I am still developing my thoughts on this subject matter, so if you feel there is an important question I have not asked or thought of, feel free to add it! Thank you again for your help and cooperation!

Do you feel that distance learning is easier, more difficult or essentially the same? (In regards to difficulty of subject matter, understanding the lessons being taught, retaining information etc.) It would depend on the individual. Some folks do fine with it and for some it just does not work.

Do you feel that the education your child would receive via a distance learning program would be less than, equal to or greater than those students receiving an education at a brick and mortar facility? Again it would depend on the child, some do well with on line others do not. Some children need a more hands on approach others need a more textbook approach.

What are some challenges you feel your child would face, if any, while receiving an education through distance learning? It is not easily tailored to the students learning style. You cannot go at the child's pace.

What are the benefits you feel your child would receive, if any, while gaining an education through distance learning? I cannot think of any benefits.

If you are a parent or prospective parent, how would you feel about your child receiving an education via a distance learning program throughout their primary years? I would not want it.

Do you feel an accredited long distance learning program would benefit you in homeschooling your child? Why/why not? Accreditation is over rated. I personally would not use a long distance program for all of my homeschooling, maybe a course or two in high school but definitely not in the primary grades. If I was going to do something like that I might as well send them to public school. Homeschooling is about customization not standardization.

As I see from the results of the survey for your research paper there were not so many respondents. I also tried to do all the courseworks and case studies by myself, but it takes too much time to gather and analyze the info. At the college, I used to buy cheap essay online once, and then I realized that that's the way how I can save my time to focus on the other subjects and get higher grades with fewer efforts
