WHERE is it? I enrolled my daughter and clicked on assessment and it shows "assessment test not started". But nowhere to click for the assessment. It's annoying the crud outta me. Can someone help me figure it out?

    Well...

If you mean, where do you assign it, you have to log in as the teacher, then:
    1. Click the subject area button (i.e. “Math, “Language,” etc.).
    2. Click "Placement."
    3. Check the box to the right of the student's name under the "Assign New Test" button.
    4. Click the “Assign New Test” button.
    5. Select "Test all skills" or "Test just missing skills."
    6. Click "Assign."

Here is a link where you an view the results.

As far as the student... One thing about Moby Max, I found that (regular) tests I assigned were "hidden" under the test button, and unless I directly told my child to go take a test, he would just never notice them. However, IIRC, the placement tests are a bit different. I think the system prompts them to take assigned placement tests, especially if the student is new in the system. If that's not so, you can always have her look by clicking on the test button.

Sorry to take so long to reply. I am adjusting to our new schedule and my iPad is out of commision - as a result, my personal screen time has been limited.

Let me know if this works for you.
