I have a friend who is looking for something like an overhead projector. This would be for her daughter. Does anyone know of something like this? Preferably not too expensive. This is the second Christmas she has asked for this. My friend would really like to find something. Thanks!

Is it an overhead projector that she wants? What is she using it for? There are stores that have used office items tha may have something. Or she could try looking on e-bay. If you could describe it a little more I think we'd have more of an idea what she's actually wanting.

    Thanks!

She wants something she can use to draw and write things and project them on the wall. She found one that will project straight down to trace things but her daughter wants to project on the wall. I am not sure what she (the daughter) has it in mind for. She has her heart set on it for Christmas. She is only 9 so my friend really wants something made for kids. Thanks for your ideas.

    PROJECT

I WAS AT AC MOORE TODAY AND THEY HAVE A PROJECTOR THAT YOU MAYBE BE INTERESTED IN. MY DAUGHTER SAW IT AND SHE SAID THAT WAS NEAT. YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE WALL AND DRAW. CHECK IT OUT IF YOU HAVE A AC MOORE.

I can think of a million things I could use a projector for!!! What a cool idea. She probably wants to enlarge her artwork. People use them for sillhouettes (sp?) sometimes. I need one now to enlarge a map of "Middle Earth" on canvas for my son for Christmas.

Anyway, if she is desparate and doesn't have a lot of retail options, she might try the local school or library to see if they have any older used ones they could part with. Church might be a place to check, too. They are not difficult to operate, so her 9 year old would do fine with a "real" one.

Thanks for the ideas. I will pass them along to her. Her daughter will be thrilled if she can find one. :)

Is there an A.C. Moore in your area?
They have a thing such as that, I'm pretty sure.
I saw such a thing there about a year ago, when I was looking for something to be able to trace a picture onto my daughter's bedroom wall, to make a scene from Dragon Tales.

No, I don't think we have an AC Moore's. I have never heard of it. I am going to tell her about it anyway. Just in case she has a relative that can get one for her somewhere else. Thanks for the info!
