I haven't purchased from HSLDA yet but I plan to. Right now I pretty much have what I need. I understand why only members can buy, it is so they know that homeschooling teachers are purchasing these books. It is also a nonprofit organization and I do not think they are making a dime on the sales. It was strictly created to assist its members in purchasing necessary curriculum that ebay no longer sells. It is a benefit of being a member. Patty
