I just need some prayers right now

before I drive my car off a bridge..without me in it of course~! car issues SUCK!!! I had to call into work today(45min before my shift started) because my wiper blades are not working correctly and its raining. I cant drive 45miles with my hand sticking outside the window to keep the wiper blade on the darn window..its a bit cold right now(39 degree's or so). Thank God for PTO so I will still get paid for today but it totally SUCKS!...:x :x I work in a hospital as a secretary 2-3 days a week on a very busy medical surgical floor, they really need me when I work..I was almost in tears when I called..

 

Oh, dear, I hope your day gets better, I hope you can get the wippers fixed soon.

 

I am so sorry you have had such a rotten day. You will be in my prayers for sure. I just want to ask you a dumb question. What does PTO stand for? Here in our town it means Parent Teacher Organization. We have that instead of PTA. Just wondered. Beth

 

I know how you feel. I've had that same thing happen to me. Also, as of this week my husband's car is out of commission until he finishes fixing the altinator in it so I am literally stranded here. I hope your day gets better and car troubles resolve soon.

NO question is a dumb question!!! PTO is Paid Time Off, its hours that are put into my sick/time off bank based on the numbers of hours I work. I receive 7hours every two weeks into my pto "bank", twice a year they let you cash it out and start over again...

 

A little, its not raining and we are going to the library for story/craft hour in about an hour then to awanna's. I made chocolates today so they wer yummy! lol

 

Yeah, chocolate sure makes a rough day seem a little brighter. I think I need a Snickers bar. Beth

 

Melissa, I am sorry to hear of your car problems. I can relate! It is very frustrating. Once, my wipers stopped working in the middle of a rainstorm! lol Wasn't so funny then.

 

Hope it works out for you and the car.
Cars can be a real pain but we do so need them.

Well I took it in the shop today..wont get it back till tomorrow so I had to call into work again..PLUS Madison has a fever of 102. and got sick 2x last night..so hopefully I can go to work on Saturday Im out of PTO days.

Ava, these same wipers went out in a rainstorm last spring..yes NOT fun!!

Thanks! Ive been giving her tylenol for the fever but its not working very well and thats all I have, plus no way to get anywhere else. We shall see how tomorrow goes.
