Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm hs'ing our two youngest. Dd is 11 and in 6th grade. Ds is almost 7 and in 1st grade. We are having so much fun! I don't think any of us realized that learning could be fun.
Well a mighty big Welcome to ya pard'ner!(Being silly because you used the word "Howdy") I am in texas, so I get to talk like that. :> What state are you in? What made you decide to Homeschool? How are your family or friends reacting? What is your favorite part, so far? My name is Jen, I have my twin 6 year old first graders and my 3 (4 next month) year old preschooler.... And yea, it is amazing finding out how much fun you can have! Just today, the twins took their math test and both scored about 95. It was so pretty outside (And since I am the Superintendant of the school) I decided it was recess time, so we packed it up and went to kick a ball in the park. Whooo Hoooo!!! So, welcome! Tell us more about 'cha! jen
Welcome, I am homeschooling our youngest two daughters this year. It is our first year homeschooling and we love it so much. We are doing 8th and 3rd grades. I know you will love it here. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful when I had questions or just needed support. Beth
Welcome! We are in our first year of homeschooling as well. Loving it! We are teaching 4th, 2nd and preschool.
Hello and welcome! I have been homeschooling my youngest. We are on our fourth year. It is a blessing to be able to spend such special time with our children. I am glad you joined us. We have a great time around here. Oh, I almost forgot, my name is Patty and my daughters name is Emma. She will be nine on December 9th. Patty

Howdy Karen! WELCOME! We homeschool our 3 children: ds15, ds13 and dd9, and we LOVE it! I love having them home with me, and seeing them learn! I've been married to the best dh in the world for 18 1/2 years, and he is VERY supportive and helpful! This is a great place, glad you're here! Hope you stick around!
Hi Karen....welcome. I am Leslie and I have 2 kids (11 and 9). You have come to a great place. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi, Karen! Greetings from Kansas, where we've been homeschooling more-or-less for 17 years! 'Couldn't have done it some of the time, if it weren't for the fact that I have the best dh in the whole, entire world! It hasn't always been "fun" for us, (a lot of the time, it truly was), but we did what we did "by faith," and now these years of high school are really great! Welcome, & I hope you stay for the long-run!
It's not so bad. Just keep remembering that you get lots of practice with the first one so they get easier after that. Nah, I"m just kidding. But it does get easier. You learn to recognise the difference in their cries and what you need to do for them. The only thing I wish I had done differently is having them closer together. That way I wouldnt have them spread out over 15 years. But on the other hand, my older ones were a great help when the younger ones came along.
Welcome to hs spot my Name is Kris I am from Texas I hs two lovely dd's in the 8th and 6th grade and I have one wonderful, supportive dh.
