I am looking to find a great internet secruty /web blocking site. Parental control type software program. I didn't know if there were any ideas out there that anyone is using. I find that some are very strict and then others that don't catch enough. Anyways... I am looking for some suggestions.
A lot of ISPs have them built in as do anti-viruses. From what I can tell though there isn't one that can really catch them all (personal experience hee hee), the only true way is to watch the history and if something comes up manually enter in the domain for it to block it.
I am sorry I am posting so late. I am still reading past posts I have missed. What do you want to block? We use Integrity Online. It is very strict and was created by three or four pastors many years ago. It is not the cheapest and it is not compatible with all computers. We have had it about four or five years now and I have been very happy with it, but as I said, it is strict. What I like is if a page is blocked and I am sure it is safe, I can email them and they view it and will unblock it if they think it is alright. It has many accountablity options as well. It is a Christian based ISP. Patty
