    Kris,
I forget where you are at...The Homeschool School in Houston had a bunch of used Saxon in the back "used room".

Here is a link to a bookstore based in Memphis. She sells homeschool books on consignment and does online orders for the exact media mail shipping costs. I don't know exactly which books you are looking for. Different people use Saxon different ways (I use 65 for 5th, some use it for 6th). The link is for Saxon 87. I thought your 9th grader might need algebra. If you can't find what you are looking for, giver her a call. I saw tons of Saxon math there when I was there last week. She's a super nice lady, too!

Heidi, what years are they for? If they are my years I want them? Do you have the teacher books or don't you need them?

Basically, 7/6 would be 6th grade, 8/7 would be 7th grade. But Saxon has a test online that your dd's could take that would tell what level they should start in. And I consider them more levels, as opposed to grades.

dd9 does well with math, and is doing 7/6 this year. She's going a little slower than someone older or higher grade, but she catches on to the concepts right away, and is remembering things well. I'm not pushing her to finish it this year, she'll just work at it until she's done, then we'll go on to the next book.

    Kris~
I agree with Deena~ go to Saxon's website and have your girls take the test there~ that will help you determine what level(s) you might need for them.

I have the complete sets~ newest edition~ that includes the student text, the solutions manual, and the tests and worksheets book (the tests are all there, and only a few of the worksheets have been used~ we could erase them).

I just typed this all out and realized I probably should have sent you a pm instead~ oh well!

Don't they call that the homeschool packet, Heidi? That's what I ended up getting, and I like it! I wouldn't want just the books, it's much harder that way!
