I have been using the site for my two sons for over a month. They can answer any kind of Math problem that I came across. mathropolis.com
It's really hard to tell from their web site. There's not much there other than something telling you you have to email your question and then pay to get an answer back in 48 hours. Personally, if I had a math problem that I needed an answer to, I'd want it a lot sooner than 48 hours. I also don't want just the answer. I can get that from a calculator or computer program. I would want something online that provided examples of similar problems, stepping you through the mechanics so you actually learn. How much do they charge for answers and what is provided?
QG I feel the same way as you do. I don't want to wait 48 hours for answer, if we are having troubles we want to figure it out the sooner the better. But, its not a bad site if thats the only way you can get help. Also, what do they charge you?
mathropolis well they answer the problems showing the solution not just the answer. the prices are in their products page. there are packages and memberships.
$25 for 5 questions is pretty steep. Interesting that the response time promised on the website suddenly changed to 24 hours. The math forum @ Drexel is free and has a huge database of answered questions that I've found easy to search on, even when I was not quite sure of how to phrase my question.
