Do any other high school parents have recommendation for high school text books and where a good place would be to buy them? I have been looking and the more I look the more confused I get! I'm looking for mostly math, social studies and science (secular).
I have no idea for secular stuff. The Christian science and history I have is absolutely fantastic! As far as math goes, I'm in the same boat. If you do a search, you can find one or two discussions on higher level math. I'll probably go with Teaching Textbooks, but that still hasn't been decided for sure yet! I buy a lot of used books at www.homeschoolclassifieds.com
Thanks Jackie. How do you get the stuff from the site you listed? I have looked at it a few times but I'm not sure how to navigate it so I have never gotten past the "looking" part so far.
It's not the most user friendly site. Try clicking on the grade level or subject you are searching for at the top and then scroll down the list that is in alpha order to find what you are looking for.
