    Good morning all!

You all our right...this site is addictive:D

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you had information on some good work at home programs...legitimate ones are so hard to find! I have had some people recommend home type parties to me, but if we end up in Tucson I am not going to know people to host parties, etc. I would love some sort of clerical type position, virtual secretary type thing I could do during the week since I plan on doing massage on weekends.

    Any ideas??

My friend did typing of medical transcripts, but I know very little about it. She did this when her children were younger, and she wanted to be home with them. It worked well for her.

You can also go to wahm.com.

I just filled out two applications for working at home. There are a good bit of companies who hire at-home workers but they are not always hiring and sometimes the wait can be a long time.

Data-entry is the hardest to get into. There are several like Alpine that hire for telephone operators, the folks who answer the phone when you call the 1-800 number on the back of your box to ask a question, type of folks.

    Good luck.

Most companies require a high speed internet connection, landline phone and some need you to complete a background check (the ones where you will be dealing with people ss# and cc#).

If you go on wahm, check out the telecommuting folder and look under the first "sticky" at the top and you will find a list of a lot of companies that hire at-home workers.

Just remember you NEVER pay for a job but you might pay for a work at home business, like Avon or something like that.

I had a friend who did the same thing that Jackie said. She loved it. I don't know how she got the job.
