Meeting my husband was a "God Thing". I'm from Northern California and he is from Canada- British Columbia. Neither one of us had done much dating in our lives. We met on-line on a Christian pen-pal site. I'd been on there for awhile and had had some weirdos write to me. I was getting burnt out and was going to cancel my account but something told me to give it one more week. Well- in that next week, he wrote to me first and we kept up the writing for 8 months before he travelled down to Tahoe for a skiing trip and we met in person. We hit it off and after that trip, we continued to write and travel back and forth between countries to see each other whenever possible. He proposed to me while I was up there visiting in the summer at the base of the highest waterfall in Canada (after a grueling 16 mile hike)- that was 7 months after meeting in person. He moved down to California the next month and we were married 8 months following- in my hometown.

God had a plan for us- we are best friends. We will celebrate our 8 year anniversary at the end of this month. We have two wonderful children we just adore- Jadon, our little boy, just turned 5 years old and Nekoda, our baby girl, just turned 2 years old. They are truly blessings!!

My husband works hard and is a computer programmer for a health insurance company. He also has a side hobby/job of hiking to and photographing waterfalls. He has an online site where he writes about the hikes, gives directions and sells his photos. He supports my decision to stay home with our kids and homeschool. We were both raised Christian and he is a wonderful man of God. He plays drums for our church.

He's a very quiet person and some tend to take that the wrong way at first until they get to know him. He says he can talk more to me than to anyone.....so that is a good thing! He's a very good father and husband and I love him to pieces!!
