Was it every fun and informative!
So I now know I'm going to be getting dd Horizons Phonics and Reading for next year.
Christian Liberty Publications were there and I REALLY liked their reading program, but I don't think dd would dig it. I did pick up some other small things from them and a calendar book that will be awsome for next year.
Picked up a few books at the Usborne book also.

I went with a friend and we had a really good time- went to lunch, got lost trying to find the hotel which our husbands will never know about lol.

Excellent! I can't wait to go to ours later this Summer.
We do Horizon Math and I definitely want to check out their Phonics stuff now.
My Kindergarten daughter LOVES the Usborne books. Especially sticker math. :)

No, it was the TEACH one in Norfolk, VA.

The big convention here is in Richmond- not sure when it is because I won't be going. I would love to go but hubby has duty that weekend and we don't have a babysitter. I'd take her but she does not do well in crowded places.

This is why I don't go to our big one in Syracuse. It's held on a weekend that my dh has work obligations and taking 5 kids to a hs conference DOES NOT seem like fun to me.

Well I only have one lol, but she has sensory issues - crowds being a trigger for her.

My friend is going and she is taking her two older girls, but not her son. Her husband had offered to watch dd- her son and dd are good buddies, but I'll save him the stress lol.
