Was it every fun and informative! So I now know I'm going to be getting dd Horizons Phonics and Reading for next year. Christian Liberty Publications were there and I REALLY liked their reading program, but I don't think dd would dig it. I did pick up some other small things from them and a calendar book that will be awsome for next year. Picked up a few books at the Usborne book also. I went with a friend and we had a really good time- went to lunch, got lost trying to find the hotel which our husbands will never know about lol.
Excellent! I can't wait to go to ours later this Summer. We do Horizon Math and I definitely want to check out their Phonics stuff now. My Kindergarten daughter LOVES the Usborne books. Especially sticker math.
No, it was the TEACH one in Norfolk, VA. The big convention here is in Richmond- not sure when it is because I won't be going. I would love to go but hubby has duty that weekend and we don't have a babysitter. I'd take her but she does not do well in crowded places.
This is why I don't go to our big one in Syracuse. It's held on a weekend that my dh has work obligations and taking 5 kids to a hs conference DOES NOT seem like fun to me.
Well I only have one lol, but she has sensory issues - crowds being a trigger for her. My friend is going and she is taking her two older girls, but not her son. Her husband had offered to watch dd- her son and dd are good buddies, but I'll save him the stress lol.
