My dryer is on the fritz!

Timer and Thermostat not working. I'm ALREADY behind on laundry! Don't know how it will get done now!

Sent email to my dad, he's kinda good with these things. Hoping he can fix without having to buy a new dryer.

    THANKS!

See...told ya it was silly! Well, silly compared to everyone elses, not life threatening....more an inconvenience. Okay, feeling selfish for asking for prayer - but there's something about you ladies! God always seems to answer!!! :D

I don't think any prayer request is silly to God. I once had a 3rd grader ask me to pray for her pet rabbit. I asked what was wrong with the rabbit and she said it had died. I did have a little trouble keeping a straight face for a second but then we prayed that she would not be sad or grieve too long for her pet and we talked about how God loves the little animals he made. Praying for you my friend. Beth

Don't feel silly! Have you Googled your problem and your dryer? I recently had a problem with my washing machine while dh was out of town. I found the answer on the internet, and I fixed it myself. Of course, if it had been a major problem, I would have called someone. It sure was nice to fix it without the extra expense of a repair person's bill, though. Maybe it is something minor that can be fixed easily and cheaply! Until you find the answer, can you hang your wash out to dry?

Good comments ladies! I agree--never feel silly about praying about something. Everything about you is important to Him, and I believe with all my heart that He feels honored when we take ALL our worries to Him!!!

So, I'm praying for you and this situation!

Is it silly that I laid hands on it and prayed over it? LOL :D DIdn't work. I've got a wet load int he washer soaking b/c I've got no where to hang it.

I looked up a few things we can try, and we're going to. If not, we're going to have to call a repair man. I need it back though, piling up!

If I dont' post again for a week it's because I'm lost under a pile of dirty undies! :D

Man I can relate to the dirty laundry disaster. If the washer goes out here, a big red light starts flashing and a voice shouts red alert! red alert! Well maybe only in my mind but you just never know around here! I hope you were able to get it fixed. Beth

NO request is too sily for God!
Maybe its just the filter needing cleaned out that can cause a dryer not to heat and dry!
I was learning about this recently and wondering if I want to use my vacume hoze on my own.
I will be praying its small problem not big one!
I have had my shares of bad dryers and washers as well!
    Be blessed!

No prayer request is silly. Afterall, not having a dryer that works is hard on you, your family, and could possibly be hard on the family budget. Believe me, I have prayed about things I am sure you would laugh at. lol...I have prayed for a close parking space in the middle of winter with a baby. I got it! LOL.

Well, it's fixed. i'd like to say it was cheap. It wasn't. BUT it was cheaper than replacing the dryer. Load 1 is drying now. Glad it hit on a week when we actually had a little bit to spare.

Poor hubby feels like someone's poked a hole in our bag o money! LOL :D
