Sandy's dad is (or was) in the hospital so she's been busy looking after him and making necessary arrangements for him. The same question was asked and she wasn't sure when she would be able to have the forums up and running again... Brenda
Anyone else feel like an orphan after reading that link? For me personally, its hard to visit and post on more than one website a day or so. I have *rules* for myself when it comes to limits of time spent on the net,etc. I stick to them! However, since I'm an abcteach member, but post here it has taken some juggling to browse one and post at the other. Ok.....let me go off and *sulk* somewhere!
I third that I didn't post much but I read it every day. Some of you might like about Homeschooling boards if you don't know about them already. Heaps of people and new posts every day. I like this A to Z board too, but there isn't the same trafic as was on ABC teach.
My first response either didn't go through or it got yanked. ARGH!!!! was my first reply. We really are crybabies, though. We ourselves were the source of the feelings of friendship at abcteach. We can easily have that here, but I don't think we'll see near the volume of conversation. That's what I'll miss- the busy-ness of those forums.
....I feel like I lost a best friend. No offense to this forum Amanda..it's just that I had gotten so used to ABC and it was so simple to post and read and get to. I think we have probably lost contact with alot of the ladies from ABC. I know haven't come around here as much since Sandy closed. Maybe I'll get the hang of this forum and stick around!
I was a little upset when I read of them closing but now that I have slept on it you ar right it probably wasnt the forum but the people who made it!! Some of us didnt come over here and I do not know why. Has anyone heard from Deana in WA. She was to help me with a "Chinook" Anyway we are leaving in a few days sooo... That is why you wont see me but Ill be back and posting as useual.
I'm a little sad about this but saw it comming for a while. We will just have to settle in more here and be thankful for what we have. I just click on the "new posts" here so I don't have to navigate through through everything. Its quicker than clicking the hs link. Thank you to Amanda. There is so much to love about this forum.
