Has anyone used the Usborne Piano Course (book one)? Just wondering what you thought of it. My ds has expressed an interest in learning to play the piano. He's six. I checked the Usborne book out in the CBD catalog, but obviously, the description is brief. I'm looking for something colorful and fun, but educational. Any opinions? Thank you! Anne
My daughters use Alfred's books. You can pick them up in a local music store near you and see if you are interested in them. They seem to be colorful and interesting enough that my girls like them. My girls take piano lessons from a music teacher. I play the piano but wanted them to take lessons from someone else.
Alfred's books Thanks for your input! If it's not too much trouble, could you post the ISBN#s for one of your Alfred's books? I live in Europe, so popping into a music store for an English language music book isn't an option. I thought I could do a search on CBD or Barnes and Noble and view an excerpt. Thank you very much! Blessings, Anne
