I like Maggie, too! Maggie doesn't go with Joy, though, nor with Natalie. Maggie Ann? Maggie Belle? Marguerite makes me think of the Spanish Margarita (the NAME, not the drink! :lol: ), but to me a nickname for either of those is Margarite or Margie (soft /g/). If you want a name to shorten to Maggie, Magdalene seems more appropriate. I've no idea what it means though. LOL But I like just plain Maggie.
Gavin Benjamin is an awesome name! Congradulations on having a boy! I loved having mine! LOL. He is the best. Girls are awesome but there is just something special about a son. Well...girls are special. Geesh..I guess all our blessings are special. I am due July 25th. So, we are due fairly close!
Nah, my dh does not like Alexandria. LOL. I thought he would. I remember liking that name in high school but I dont' care for it now. Which is funny since I hated the names Olivia and Aaron while IN high school and now I have an Olivia and Aaron. LOL>
I like Maggie, too. I wanted to name my dd9 Madeline Grace instead of Mary Grace. But I wanted to call her Maddie. My dh said it sounded like a dog's name. :roll: My g'ma passed away while I was pregnant with her, so we used her name, Mary, instead of Madeline. She goes by both names, but some people don't like double names. I do!! My dd6 is Emma Catherine. I wanted to call her Emma Cate, but it didn't last very long.
She is doing just great. With all the heartburn and exhaustion, I think she is getting me in advance for all the time outs and spankings she will no doubt recieve. LOL. However, she is doing fine...moving a ton! I swear if someone told me I was due today I would believe it! LOL.
