I have one of their Education Rewards Card (gives you 10% cash back on your purchases), so they sent me a 15% off coupon to use on Teacher Appreciation Day. I picked up the following supplies today, and it cost me less than $40:

6 boxes of 24 Crayola Crayons
7 boxes of 24 Crayola Pencil Crayons
1 box of 8 Crayola Markers
4 calculators (so the kids don't fight over them!)
    Package of sticker labels
    12 duotangs
    3 spiral notebooks
2 packs of 4 Hilroy notebooks
    3 plastic pencil boxes
    Package of 3 erasers
    Package of 6 pencil grips
2 packs of 150 count lined paper
    Package of 5 highlighters
    Math set (protractor, etc)
Large package of rubber grip thumbtacks
Package of 24 pencils (like we need more pencils LOL)
    Package of 6 glue sticks

I love school supply shopping! :D

We don't have a Staples, but sounds like a good deal. :) I pretty much have to follow sales and pick from Target, Walmart, Dollar Tree, and Walgreens.

Is that the card that you have to purchase or is it a different promotion card?

No, the Education Rewards card is a free card. I picked up the application in store, filled it out and they sent me a card. I used my name as the Teacher's Name, our homeschool name for the School Name (RiverTree Homeschool... so they knew I'm a homeschooler), and where it asked for my Teacher ID Number, I just put in 001 or something.

I didn't need to take advantage of it, but one of the benefits is that during Teacher Appreciation Days, you can purchase under the teacher limit instead of the family limit. For example, the packages of looseleaf were like 15cents each, with a limit of 6 packages per family. But if you have the teacher card, you can buy up to 40 packages at that price. So if you have a lot of kids being homeschooled, or teach classes in a co-op or whatever and need a lot of supplies, you can save a ton.

You get 10% cash back on all your purchases. Every quarter, you get an email with a coupon for your total cash back earned for that quarter.

That is awsome. I will check it out this weekend. I have been getting some good deals at Staples even if I only have one at home!:) The 2 in public still need supplies too.

I have been taking advantate of their extreme deals and weekly specials. I just got 25 comp books, 5 pairs of scissors, 2pks of binder subject dividers, 80 binder clips, a hole punch that goes in a binder, and something else that is not popping into my brain for under $10.

You can usually get 25 of any of the extreme deals (you do have to spend $5 before the extreme deal amount usually also) with the teacher rewards card.

I have not been in town to take advantage yet , and when here I din't have the car. The thought of walking about 3 miles then carrying the stuff back home does not appeal to my aching back right now... it is sore from carrying groceries two miles Lol.

I always go in for the penny deals and buy the max...anything I don't use I take to my co-op OR I donate. :)

    Fun :)

I have the teacher rewards card too. Love it! There are lots of things that I get better deals on at other stores, but somethings are just better there, or easier to find. Plus on teacher appreciation, I sometimes find a coupon that they will let me combine with the teacher disc.

Last year I got a brother labeller for almost nothing, and got the "free gift bag". I was a happy shopper! This July I got a cash back certificate in the mail too.
