I am planning to switch over to Calvert for 5th grade next year. I was wondering whether anyone has used the Little House Study guides that Calvert offers. I have some that I downloaded before. They are the Reader's Digest Condensed kind. Just Wondering if Calvert's are worth the $50?
Thanks in Advance for any help.

    Kim....

A girlfriend of mine that is going to be basically doing what I'm going to be doing next year, 1/2 Calvert and 1/2 WTM bought the series. She called me the next day and said she was *elated*. She said they were wonderful, could't wait to use them and was glad she got them. I personally have not seen them.

Her daughter has been reading just about high school level since first grade. YEP..one of the smartest kids I know! She, like you I believe has only the one daughter, hence they get to do soooo much more:) She just couldn't go on enough, so I guess she was happy lol

I don't know.....did that help any? lol Or are you more unsure? lol

    Blessing

    Thanks Tina!

    Hi Tina,
This is exactly what I was looking for! Tells me it's worth the money. The ones I got off line were short, but did help give a direction in which to go in. I've had the set of books since dd was in 1st grade, read them all, but want to do more with them. It will be on my list of things to buy along with the 5th grade curriculum. Hopefully I'll get my WTM today or tomorrow, then I'll have more to put on my list. (It's in the mail). I will be doing Calvert, Story of the World, adding VA history, and I'm sure more stuff. I think I will always be ecclectic in what I buy. But why not when there are so many choices out there?;) Thanks so much for answering! You are always so very helpful:D !
