I'm selling our Apologia (Considering God's Creation) Astronomy books.

The textbook (retails for $39) is in brand new condition. The spine has barely been cracked.

The spiral-bound notebooking journal/workbook (retails for $24) is in excellent condition. One page of lapbook-type mini-books has been cut out and put together, but not pasted into the book yet. One page has a small (quarter sized) juice stain where the mini-book would be pasted down. No writing in the book at all.

I also have the kit that includes the materials needed for all of the experiments. The only things missing from the kit are the balloons for the very first experiment (making a solar system) and the inflatable globe. The kit has things like magnifying glass, styrofoam balls, packets of Plaster of Paris, penlight, etc. The kit cost me $35.

I'll sell the whole thing for $40 plus shipping from Canada.

It's elementary science, grades K-6. It's structured so that you can go through it at an early age, and could go through it again at a later age and get more out of it. Or, for multiple kids in different ages to do at the same time, with the older kids going more in depth. There are 5 or 6 different units besides Astrology to carry you through the whole of elementary (zoology, botony, anatomy, etc).

It really seems to be an excellent curriculum, and I might come back to the Apologia series in a few years, but the structure of it just isn't fitting in with the rest of our curriculum right now, and we really don't have the room to store it in the meantime.

I looked it up online and I don't think that Apologia would work for us. We prefer a more secular approach to science.
