LOL I guess you're right - this made me smile. :) Thanks!

And this week I had someone email me, from locally. I *think* that at one point I had emailed her based on a Craig's List ad. Anyway, her email said basically, give me your mailing address. I have some curriculum items I think you might can use.
And I keep forgetting. LOL That was only a couple of days ago, and I have NO IDEA what she's sending. (I hope it gets here before we move! We just found out, and we're moving by the end of the month. I think. Gimme a couple hours and let dh get back from looking at the house. LOL)

    I'm rambling.
You're right. God's been providing for our homeschool curriculum this year like NUTSO CRAZY. It's almost unbelievable. Almost. ;)

    Thanks!

And for artsy, I'm not really sure what you're looking for. My son is 8. I'm making our own curriculum, using library books and whatever internet resources I can find, based on a mixture of several Tables of Contents to popular history curriculums that I was able to access online for free. I also have access to the Story of the World activity sheets. :D
We're starting with the Genesis account of creation and the world's beginnings - creation, the garden of eden and the fall of man, cain and abel, noah's flood, and then the ice age and some pre-history before heading to Mesopotamia and Sumeria, then the tower of Babel and Babylon's story....

You can download Diana Warings books, or samples of them that may help you get a start!
Its one lesson I think, but only parts of it of course because it is a SAMPLE.
Anyway, if you are putting together a curric. that may help, History Alive! Diana Waring should get you to the web site.
I went through homeschool reviews and found her.
Her stuff looks okay, a bit confusing for me though.
Just thought I would let you know and post it
