    What about this?

How about gymnastics, swimming lessons, or a music class?

Oh, Michael's and other art stores usually offer crafts classes on Saturdays and great camps in the summer for very reasonable prices!

    activities

There's always T-Ball, Wildcat Baseball, Soccer, Karate. Do you have a YMCA or YWCA close to you. The public Libraries are pretty good places to get info also.:)

We found plenty at the Y, but they are expensive no matter how you look at it. If you are not a member you can pay up to double, and if you decide to get a youth membership to get lower class prices, it will run you over 100.00 a year. Email me if you want to know exactly what we paid, so you can plan.

We live in a big city, and we have a wonderful assortment of Metro Parks, as well as the city rec centers. The Metro Parks have super programs for preschoolers, and about two years ago many started offering programs just for HS'ers, too! Our rec centers have good classes; some are free and some are not. Parks and Rec also has a program that brings story tellers/singers/perormers weekly to two different places that the children enjoy.

    Randa..

Don't forget going to the public library on a regular basis for storytime. Each one of my children have went for storytime since they were babies and we still DO on a regular basis. This would be once a week or more if you want.

Also, mine have done Kindermusik since very small! YOu can go to their website and find out if a group meets near you. I think you would search under Kindermusik and it would bring it right up. Kindermusik is also once a week.

Also if you like music isn't there a certain type of violin that is best mastered best between the ages of 3 to 5 yo? I can' remember, but I know that was an option.

It is fun to discover the world around you through activities at this age.. here are some of the things I did with my daughter at around age 4 ...but I only did one activity at a time.. Each lasted 6-15 weeks and they were all fun but I learned a lot about my daughter because her favorite was ART! The rest were fun and we would have never knew until we tried new things..

Kindermusik- musical class for preschooler with dancing, singing and playing-offered in some cities ( I did it right before age 4)

Gymnastics- was fun for a while but she didn't want to do it again. (right at age 4)

ART CLASS- MIXED MEDIA for Preschoolers and mommy-- they did things like clay molding - painting- making things -- mozaics..from pastas etc..from seashells and more...it was a JUST THE 2 OF US CLASS-- so we had fun together (age 4 1/2)

Weekly Storytime at our local library with craft-checked out books weekly

Bi-weekly Games Playgroup of homeschoolers with circle games was fun fun!!!!!! We still are doing it.

I am considering Sports/ muscial instuments such as piano lessons/ violin etc.

    Hope this helps.kay
