For absolutely no reason whatsoever, ;) does anyone here happen to be near the Corsicana, Hubbard, TX area? Happen to know about the homeschooling community near there? Talking Hill County, Navarro County, general vicinity.

    Just curious.

Oh, I know where it is. LOL I just wondered if anyone on here is near there. :p And maybe you meant googling homeschooling groups - yes, but that area is like much of where we're from not far from there at West; no one and nothing is online. You gotta be there, you gotta know people! Anyway, that's how it seems.

    Thanks Kris!

I don't live real close...maybe an hour away...so my info may not be close enough for you. However, the PATH Homeschool Group is active in my area - I'm not officially a member yet, but have several friends that are and I tag along to some of the activities. I think it has around 50 families. Looks like the web address is www.pathhs.com.

Thanks! Took me a bit to find that one. LOL

Yeah, I think it might be closer to just go to Waco than to Canton, at least on any sort of a regular basis. Hm.

    Thanks!

So, I'm only a YEAR late in finding this post...I was googling something else and it came up. I actually live 15 mi west of Coriscana. We're there about once a week. If you still want to know something, let me know and I'll tell what I know.

FWIW, There are two homeschooling groups (that I know of) in Corsicana. One is very, very new and not really getting off the ground. The other is more established, but as noted above, doesn't really have an online presence. They do communicate by email though.
