Crazy....whole fam went a few yrs ago to big house. Kiddos were amazed our nephew texted from down south going to football game....told our kiddos the stadium we were in is twice the size... It really is something. 1st time I went with an alum and worked as usher at homecoming... I felt like the dad in the movie Rudy!!! Your daughter must go... the student section looks fun!!! LOL!!!
She's begrudgingly admitted she'll give it a try She liked going to the occasional football game in high school just to hang out with friends, and I'm guessing that'll be the draw. I think we'll go out and catch a game, too, just to see what it's like. Again, can't say we're big sports fans, but I'm always up for the new experience and everyone talks about it being a lot of fun just to be there They can fit over 100,000 people in there....like twice the population of the city we live in! That's crazy! lol.
Crazy... let me tell ya..you get to be friends with people next to you because you are basically sitting on each other's laps!!! Last time we met some guy got all ticked at another guy because guy #1 was over his seat line....well...guy#1 explained bigger guy down the row is "pushing" people down guy #2 was like your in my seat blah blah...flying off the handle... seriously the seats are not made for large people. Guy #2 did end up later apologizing to guy #1. Luckily we got out tickets from a friend & didn't pay for them. WE got there a little early hubby said if he would've known we passed a Little Caesar's would've been fun to get there a little earlier to eat before we went in!!!
The last OSU game I went to, I sat next to a youngish girl and an older guy. We got talking, and he came across VERY evasive. I finally asked him (only half in jest) "So, are you a CIA agent or a drug smuggler?" He had also been drinking, and she managed to get him out of there before the game was over.
