    Tomorrow is Inauguration(SP?) Day.

    Who is your favorite president?

Besides future president Brewer, I like Clinton.

Jimmy Carter did seem to be the most honorable man to hold office.

Well, I like Pres. Bush because he's a Christian. Other than that I'm guilty because I don't know a lot about the American Presidents (please don't hang me for that)

That's okay Brenda, there are PLENTY of things out there that have the presidents on them. Our favorites (ease of use and cost) are those WalMart placemats. I got those for the boys and didn't have to teach them the names, they challenged each other, asked trivia questions about the presidents, and tried to memorize all of them. When my 11 year old was 6 he could say all the presidents in order! He can't remember them all now, but he remembers many of them and the trivia stuff about them. There is one president named Rutherford B. Hayes. When he was learning them he called him Ruthaferd Behave!

I liked Jimmy Carter's accent ("Hi, my name's Jimmy Cahtah"), and I like the work he's done since he was out of office. My dad liked Dwight Eisenhower ("We/I like Ike"). I liked Ronald AND Nancy Reagan, and John F. and Jackie Kennedy. Gerald Ford was a pretty cool dude---very nice and made fun of himself and his bumbling ways. Oh, and the one I feel most sorry for is Herbert Hoover---he pretty much got the raw end of the deal since he bcame president in 1929, then the stock market crashed. I really don't think it was his fault, but he was an easy target.......

I may be old, but I'm not THAT old! Just from research and things (like the musical Annie), I've learned some about him, so I felt sorry that he got blamed for the depression. How can one man bring on a whole drepression?

Was the question just ones we've been alive to see? Then those who mentioned Abe Lincoln are even older than I am!

I started this thread, and I just wondered who you guys liked.

I'd be interested in what our Canadian sisters think.
I know Brenda posted, but aren't there more from Canada?
