Well it seems since we made our move from Texas to Arizona my two dd's have been sick alot. Took them to the doctor and he told me it would take them awhile to get use to the elevation level over here as we went from sea level to 7,000 feet up.

But, to me it doesn't seem to be, that they had really bad colds and we got through that.now they seem to have the flu. Maybe it's just the weather change I don't now. We do go to 4-h and homeschool group alot so they are with other children whom more then likely give it to them.

But then again it could be just in the air too.

I was wondering do you ladies have any ideas what I do to make them feel better and to not be sick all the time. We take vitiamns all the time and drink OJ but nothing is working.

Help Mom is getting tired and need ideas ,

    Thanks ladies

    Kris Tx

Hey Kris - Sorry to hear about the girls being sick. I am sorry I dont have any advice right off the top of my head, but I will give it some thought.
When you get a chance send me a private e-mail with your new address. I thought I had it but cant find it. My daughter has had a letter for yours for weeks now. Maybe getting mail will brighten her up!! :D

    Kris,

I didn't know you moved! Hope you can start enjoying your new state soon!

I moved from California to New Mexico (Farmington area---actually a Mission about 50 miles away, but that was the closest "real" city), and I got sick from the elevation. It really does take awhile for the body to adjust to the thinner air. Your lungs and heart have to learn to work differently, and in a new state there are new strains of viruses and flus that they may not have been exposed to before. It takes awhile to get through it all, at least it did me. There's not a whole lot you can do, really, except look forward to the day your bodies and the elevation and sicknesses call a truce!!! Just know it does go away after the adjustment period, but I believe your doctor is right.

We'll pray that you all get well, and stay well!!!
