    Hey, Girls -

I know this isn't a recipe board, but I thought I would post this anyway. Our family likes the regular kind of brownies (chocolate), but I think we like these just as much or more. This recipe is so quick and easy -- and very tasty.

    Blondies (Blond Brownies)

    1/2 cup butter or margarine
    1-1/2 cups brown sugar
    2 eggs
1 tsp. WATKINS Double-Strength Vanilla (or whatever kind you use)
    1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 cup chocolate chips

Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan and remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients, except chocolate chips. Spread in greased and floured (or spray with cooking spray) 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.

I have made these a lot lately and they sure don't last long around here.

    Trudy~
    Love new recipes!
And, I have a daughter who hates chocolate, so this sounds like a yummy alternative for her. (minus the chocolate chips, of course).
    Thanks,
    Heidi
