Green Underlined Words

    Can anyone tell me how come all of a sudden green underlined words started to appear in peoples' post? If I click on them, it takes me to strange sites. Why are they there?

    Is it a regular word that makes sense in the text? Maybe they've included a link to another site for some purpose? But I think all the links I've seen are blue....

    Yes it is a regular that make sense. But if you click on it, it doesn't make sense like a link would.

    My email server does this in emails. It automatically creates links to "related material" when the original message was not written with links. For instance, if in an email I say something about how someone is as fashion obsessed as Paris Hilton, "Paris Hilton" will come through with an external link that takes you to some random article about her. I'm wondering if maybe the same thing is happening to you thanks to your browser?
