I may be wrong but I think it was Becky who suggested that on the atoz teacher board there were some weird things occasionally happening here and that they might come over here - I wonder if this is what she was talking about? Just the same - this thing almost sounds like one of those pyramid scams (sorry) - you know, I make money when you sign up and make money... No thanks Brenda
Guess what!!! Today on the news, they were talking about "Work At Home" schemes, especially those that advertise through the internet. The federal government is looking into them. Talk about timing, huh? I did try to report it to Amanda, and a message came up that it had already been reported, so I do expect to be pulled soon.
Thanks Jackie and who ever else took the time to report this. Funny thing is I've been a stay at home mom for almost eleven years now, and have yet to see a paycheck. Mom always said...If it sounds too good to be true, it proably is. Tammy
Boo Hiss! I posted something here yesterday, but someone must not have liked it! Over at atoz they did just have a sales pitch posted in all the forums, but what I posted about was someone swearing and being mean to others.
You would think someone with such a poor level of literacy would think twice about what they post on a site with teachers. That thing was painful to read, truly.
I'd say it's definately a fringe benefit I'm very accustomed to, and sure wouldn't want to live without!!!
most parents I think most good parents feel that way too. Hugs and kisses make it worth the time. Hard days and all. Yes, we all have hard days.
No amount of money will ever take the place of the toothless grins, "I love you mommy" and the hugs and kisses. That comes from a working mom (although I can't work right now) and I'd sooner be paid with hugs and kisses than the measly dollar bills... Brenda
Hey guys, thanks for trying to report this. I don't think the report made it to me... I'll look into it. I see that a report has been recorded, however. If you see anything else, use the exclamation mark to report it. I think you took care of her, so I'm going to leave it here. We'll see if anyone is desperate (or stupid) enough to email her now. (Not to mention that when you post your email address publicly, it gets added to all kinds of spam lists... robots scan pages looking for that sort of thing....)
