We have been doing this thing for almost a yr now! I am telling you they say they are closer but really are they :roll: I just received an email again asking for stuff and info that I have sent no less than 3 times already! I just wish that they would get it over with or just tell us no and let us move on! the problem is that we are not living in this home now, friends of ours is.. so we wont be able to find someone to refinance it now... Have I said that I almost hate working with bank of America... I wish I could find someone else.. but they have the loan... I just think they know they will loose money when its done, so they are taking their sweet time ... :roll: Maybe they just need to get them selves more organize and know what has come in and who asked for it.. and where did they file it! Ok rant done... if you have read this.. and have any words of encouragement and can answer why its taking so long.. I would love to hear it. :wink:
Our home loan is through BofA and OH. MY. WORD. They are the most difficult bank I have ever had to work with. I have actually heard them called Bank of Satan because they are so difficult.:twisted: Good luck with your refinance!
We tried a refinance through Chase and TWO years later had accomplished nothing but sending the same information over and over each month. We sold the house when we moved here and got an approval for the refinance the next month! :roll: Good luck!!
Bank of Satan it is! My reply was not as friendly as it could have been... but hey... WHAT DO THEY DO WITH ALL THAT STUFF I ALREADY SENT THEM.. and she still has not replied back... that is how they are.. u don't hear from them for weeks... and then its the same thing.
A few years back, we refinanced at a lower rate, and he also added the car payment into that, so we only was paying one bill. So our current rate is WAY higher than the going rate. We've tried to refiniance again, but with the drop in values, they say we owe more than it's worth. Well, let me rephrase that. According to the refinancing people, the house isn't worth as much and we owe more. According to the government, the house is more valuable and we owe less. But the bottom line is that NO ONE will work with us to refinance.
