    Now that works!
Jeannie saw the other one before I could turn off the monitor..
now it's 'What was that? Can your bones really get that stuff? What was that? Was that a bone with a disease?' Hopefully, she'll forget about it.

What is so funny is that I didn't even pay attention to the bone until you mentioned how ugly it was. I guess my ugly bone post can be used as an educational tool for our children. :D

She does use the name.;) She still goes by it, and it's hyphened by her "husband's" last name...who is also easily known/identified. If someone here doesn't know who she is, I am pretty certain that person knows someone who does. It only takes one person to "set off an alarm". ;)

This whole story makes my stomach churn.

I just can't fathom how someone like MaryKay Letourneau can just walk outside somewhere and not a single person not know who she is...even in the smallest of towns...unless it's strictly Amish.;) She more or less is a "celebrity" (for lack of a much better term). Even if I didn't know who she was...I'm sure someone around here would know, or someone else that I know, and word would spread like wildfire. News always spreads like wildfire...and it would regardless if she used her "real" name or not...she's easily recognizable, IMO. No different than any other "famous" person...even if I didn't know them, I'm sure someone I'm connected to would know and news would spread. No different than any other child predator...AND for the record, she is a registered sex offender for life so anywhere she would move, the town would know regardless if you know her story or not.;)

ANYWHO...I get what you're saying Becky...regardless if this woman gets what she deserves, she will have to live a much different life now because of the choice she made. I'm sure she will lose a lot and no matter what the courts decide, she will get what's coming to her from other areas in her life.

As far as the boy...well...I'd like to know where the mom/dad was to be honest. Was this lady suppose to be driving him somewhere? There are a lot of unanswered questions, and I don't want to assume anything really. The boy is only 13, however, he was still making a choice and he made a wrong one. I believe he is a "victim" because of his young age and mental immaturity, however...at 13 you do know right from wrong in cases like this, and I can't believe for a second that any 13 year old would think this is possibly ok. He wasn't "raped", which is a BIG difference to me...I personally am a rape victim (at this age, to be honest!) so you ladies do NOT want to go there with me;). Taken advantage of? Yes...however I'd really have to know a lot of back story to make a solid judgement call.

DISGUSTING!!! The women knew it was wrong even if the boy didn't. SHE is the one to blame.. Yep, I'm sure the boy didn't think it was something awful but she knew better. SHAME ON HER!!! My oldest is about to be 13 and I'd be breathing fire if this were to happen to him..
