I am almost thinking I need to step away from the computer for a while...lol I had everything all set up for the year, and swore I was going to stick with it. Then it happened... just as I had all my plans in place. Someone posted something on another board about a resource that a am constantly pulled to but it makes me crazy trying to use. I just spent the morning with those resources spread across my table. I started feeling more and more anxious about how to put it all together. Then it hit me... what am I doing??? I will always feel crazy if I do this! Back to my plans for this coming year... and this stack of books is going right into my sale pile! I will not look at them again!
Ooohhhh...what it is? Maybe I want it. LOL! Just kidding. I know what you mean. I finally submitted my orders to the school last Wednesday. It's such a relief. I feel like...now I should stay off the forums so I don't see what else I'll read about and want to try and wish I had ordered. On the other hand...I just read some posts at another forum about stuff you wish you hadn't bought. There's like 3 things listed there that I just ordered! Can't win. I hope they'll work for us. Just stick to your plan...just stick to your plan...
Mine is the Core Knowledge books/sequence. As much as I want to love it, it just makes me crazy. The concept is wonderful, but when I try to build around it I find myself stressed to the max. I'm sitting here gritting my teeth and fussing at the kids because I spent time looking at it. I'm glad you got your orders in. I'm still jealous..lol
Krista, I hope you are doing that with your fingers in your eyes, because in your ears won't help you online..lol I'm done looking at things. I think I may have to ban myself from that one other board. I seem to always get the "grass is greener" effect from that place. It even made me leave McRuffy math, which we all LOVE, for something else that didn't work and threw us backwards for a while!
