I've decided that I will be using K12 Ohio Virtual Academy for both Elijah and Gianna. I have them signed up and Elijah starts Aug. 17 and Gianna, Aug. 24th. Elijah is not too excited, but I am. I am praying this works for both of them. Anyone else using the Virtual Academy???

I have really considered it for Garrett. But still not convinced it's what I want to do. I have thought maybe if it was someone esle checking his work he might put more effort into it.
I think that's an awesome option for you. If it was available in my county in VA - I would seriously consider it because I have heard good things about their curriculum.
Yes, I am using it for Gianna, too. I'm going to try it, they said if I wanted to withdraw Elijah or Gianna I can at anytime. One couple at church use this and they really like it. We will see what happens. So far, nothing has "worked" for Elijah. It is still a struggle with school. Every day he asks, "are we having school", I want to say to him, "Are you going to breathe today?" Duh!!!
It's a great option. I know someone who uses it. She thinks it gives a huge amount of work and she is always getting more books in the mail. However, she going back to college and has four kids...so that my color her view. I hope it works out for you! It think from what you said, it would be great for Elisha...especially since if he is upset with school it is not the same as being upset with you...ya know?? Not as personal.
I am thinking if nothing else he will appreciate you more with all the work they gave my friend in the CA version if it! It seems like more to the kids, its just a bunch of variety though. I may work for you! I hope so! Yeah!
