Hey, has anyone watched the movie Legend with Tom Cruise? It has been such a long time since I have that I can barely remember it (aside from that I liked it) but netflix has it and we started to watch it but it said adult situations...so I thought I'd ask first. What are your thoughts? Is there anything specific you can think of that I should watch for? Thanks for the input!
I rewatched this not too long ago when it was on TV. I think the worst of it was when the female lead was changed into the villain's bride. Her dress was a bit revealing, and there were some slightly suggestive moments. Much of your reaction to that would depend on what you let your kids watch on a regular basis. I know for some it would be the equivalent of porn and others would'nt even notice the dress's bodice part at all. It was a weird movie. I remembered it being so but thought that, as an adult, I might feel differently. Nope. I STILL think it was a weird movie. LOL I think mainly it just deals with themes that a child can't necessarily grasp or appreciate, and that's probably more what it was referring to when the review said 'adult situations.'
okay, thanks so much for the input. My kids have gotten into watching more live action movies with me lately so I'm breaking out the oldies that I loved as a kid and came across this and was thinking we might could watch this...but I didn't remember very much. I loved Labyrinth a lot better, maybe I'll look that one up! Thanks!
Autumn - From what I remember of the movie, the girl's "bride" costume WAS revealing, the devil was very scarey looking and in the scene of her becoming the bride, the talk was suggestive. But, maybe that would go over their head like was said? I too agree it was a bit "weird" when I watched it now as an adult instead of a teen.
