For anyone looking to save a few trips to the library when in need of new reading materials for the kids, Project Gutenberg (do a Google search on it, I'm too new to post links yet :)) is a resource containing thousands of freely downloadable books. The copyrights on most of these works have expired, bringing the material into the public domain. Other works are still copyrighted, but the author has given the project permisson to distribute the material. I've spent a lot of time on the site (maybe too much?), and it's well worth a look. Have fun!

Yes, I've looked here. They have most of the original Guerber history books online (all except the first, which is what I need LOL), and we plan to use those to supplement our MOH history curriculum.

There's tons there, beyond copyright dates.
