It is 12:05 here in NC and there are some animals at the waterhole now. Some are off in the distance so you have to watch for them. Maybe the camera will zoom in soon. Beth

We used to have "waterhole" gatherings here a while back. It is so fun to see all the different animals!! I would stay up late into the night watching!!

There were just some huge birds there.. what are they? anyone know? I don't think they looked like storks, but I may be wrong.

I wish they'd zoom in, I can't tell for sure what they are either.

Ahhhh, now they've zoomed in. I think they're vultures. (2:54pm Africa Time)

I just tried going there, and it played a little 15 second commercial for Africam over and over and over, no matter what I did! :( Wonder why they did that, or what's happening?

Well I guess if I had paid attention to the message they were playing I would have figured this out earlier. It says follow us. When you follow the address they are showing you will go back to the waterhole. I have wavelit bookmarked to take me there but now it has to say africam. I am back at the waterhole!

    Try this Leslie:

    http://www.africam.com/wildlife/index.php#

I just went there, and it's definitely different. It just sat there for a long time, then finally started. I haven't been on in forever, so thought I'd try...

I do remember last year. I am going to try to go there now. I haven't looked in a long time because it changed so much but I do miss the animals. Beth

Did you guys see that they have 2 cameras now?? One at the usual spot we are used to seeing and another at a smaller watering hole!!

If you go to the site, look at the left hand side of the screen where the log in is...go down a little and there is a "streaming cams" category. Click one of the 2 cams and you will see it! One is called "Nkorho Pan Stream" and the other is "Elephant Plains".

I am not seeing any animals at either place yet...but I will be checking in periodically to see if I see anything! ;)

I saw those, but I didn't know what it meant. DUH! Thanks for explaining it Leslie!

Hey, are you guys having to wait for 90 seconds or 2 minutes everytime you go into this thing? I DON'T like that! Do you know if there is a way to get BOTH of the screens up? Cuz if I want to go back and forth, I have to wait for that 90 seconds! Anyway to bypass that?

Thanks for any help you may have!
